Bangkok Soi #1
Oil on Canvas 133cm x 98cm Available
This large painting is one of a pair of views of an alley (soi) in Bangkok. There is an interaction between the three main figures, the two walking away from the viewer and the one in the center walking towards the viewer. Is it a mother and son walking away from us? Why is the central figure walking towards us dressed exactly the same as the young man walking away from us. The young men are walking toward each other or are they the same person at different moments in time?
